• World – The market in the first week of September continues to show mixed reactions.

  • India – Domestic and export prices of Indian pepper have remained stable since last week.

  • Indonesia – After two weeks of increases, both domestic and international pepper prices in Indonesia have stabilized this week due to the additional inventory on the market as some major producing regions have completed their harvest.

  • Malaysia – Domestic pepper prices in Malaysia have continued to decline over the past two weeks. Moreover, after stabilizing for four weeks, export prices have risen this week.

  • Sri Lanka – Domestic pepper prices in Sri Lanka have increased this week.

  • Vietnam – Both domestic and export prices of Vietnamese pepper have risen this week.

  • Brazil, Cambodia, China – Brazilian black pepper prices have continued to rise for the past three weeks. Meanwhile, Cambodian black pepper and Chinese white pepper prices have remained stable and unchanged.
