1. Exports: As of the end of February 2025, Vietnam had exported a total of 27,416 tons of various types of pepper, including:

  • 22,360 tons of black pepper
  • 5,056 tons of white pepper
    The total export value reached 9 million USD, with white pepper contributing 37.0 million USD. Compared to the same period in 2024, the export volume decreased by 11.9%, but the export value increased by 48.1%.
    The average export price of black pepper was 6,648 USD/ton, and the average export price of white pepper was 8,501 USD/ton.
    The United States remained the largest export market for Vietnamese pepper, with 5,890 tons, a decrease of 32.7%. Other notable markets include:

 2. Imports: From January 1 to February 28, 2025, Vietnam imported a total of 4,746 tons of pepper, including:

  • 2,469 tons of black pepper
  • 2,277 tons of white pepper

The total import value reached 8 million USD, with imports increasing by 11.4% in volume and 74.1% in value compared to the same period in 2024.
Indonesia was the largest supplier of pepper to Vietnam, providing 2,730 tons, an increase of 493.5%.
Brazil followed with 1,302 tons, a decrease of 55.2%.
